I’ve always wanted to share my faith and love for the Lord, but I was never sure how to do it. Or for that matter, if anyone would even care what I had to say. It seems I’ve found a way—through my blog “Meaningful Moments.” As for the, “if anyone would even care” part, that remains to be seen. Even so, this gives me a place where I hope to encourage and uplift others through devotions, original poems, photographs, and insights.

All of my writings are born out of my love for God, and wanting to leave a little of that love wherever I go. I’m a work in progress for sure, but God shows me through meaningful moments that he believes in, deeply cares for and loves me! Sometimes these moments come out of nowhere, and other times, I have to open heart and mind to find them. I believe that God has placed them all there to discover.

Some of my moments, I see as miracles in the making; others are just passing glimpses of God’s glory. But I celebrate each connection, not as a string of coincidences, but as having meaning and purpose. And if it’s part of God’s plan, I also hope that some of my stories and inspirations will create a positive effect in the lives of those who read them.

When I looked up the word meaningful, I was thrilled to see the definition: having serious, important or useful quality or purpose. But I also was struck by synonyms for the word like significant and worthwhile. I pray as I embark on the journey of this Meaningful Moments blog, that you will be struck by how significant, worthwhile, and loved you are by God!
